Founder and Director of Placement Stability Partners Ltd

Stephen Augustus Wallace founded Placement Stability Partners Ltd with a deep commitment to the stability and wellbeing of children and young people. His journey began at the age of three, entering care and experiencing numerous foster placements throughout his childhood.

Stephen’s lived experience is supported by professional development and practical experience working with children, young people and families. He is a qualified Life Story Practitioner and holds a Level 7 Certificate in Child Psychology, Child Counselling and Mental Health Childcare, achieved with Distinction. He also founded This Is My Life CIC, through which he has supported children, young people and families and delivered commissioned community programmes.

His professional development includes a Level 7 Certificate in Child Psychology and a background in Life Story Practice. This combination of lived experience and professional training allows him to provide a unique, person-centred approach to placement support.

“I understand placement instability not only professionally, but personally. As someone who grew up in care and experienced repeated placement changes, I know how uncertainty can affect a young person’s identity, education, relationships and sense of belonging. Placement Stability Partners was created to help children and young people receive consistent, meaningful support at the point when it can make the greatest difference.”
